This bill is intended to ensure the mental health of Americans; yet, no American’s health can be fully secured if they are under attack by a terrorist or facing the potential threat of terrorist attack.
Keith Olbermann had this to say on Countdown tonight in his "Bushed!" segment:
Congressman Hoekstra, I'll actually have to defer to you on this one. You do seem to be the expert on American's whose mental health is not fully secure."
It's getting damn near cartoonish the things Crazy Pete will say. Egads.
Meanwhile HR 1424 passed the House: 268-148, and as you guessed it Hoekstra voted no.

I am sorry to post this here, but I could find no other way to contact you. I was reading your entries on plasma gasification and I wanted to ask you some questions. If you would please send me an email at michaelscottadler@gmail.com it would be greatly appreciated.
Love your site!
Me, too. I couldn't find way to have you investigate Hoekstra's support of House Bills 1136 & 1934---both allowing returning H-2(b) visa foreign workers to be "un-counted" against annual cap of 66,000.
These are non-skilled workers employed in non-agricultural jobs.
Here in Mackinac County, where unemployment was as high as 28% last winter (the highest in the state w/the highest unemployment rate in the nation), only four jobs were listed on Michigan Works! Talent Bank w/in six months!
That's because the employers no longer have to "certify" that US workers are not available or interested in the jobs available.
The companion measure is Senate Bill386 & it's supported by Levin !!!!
